Minimum Wage Increases through 2021

Minimum wage in BC is increasing in 2020 and 2021. Minimum wage legislation is meant to ensure everyone receives a fair wage for time worked. All employees are entitled to the increases whether working hourly, on salary, commission or paid as an incentive. The current minimum wage in BC is $13.85 an hour and increases to $14.60 on June 1, 2020. Another increase to $15.20 is scheduled for June 1, 2021.
